Blog post 1

Richard Connell’s “The most Dangerous Game” is about a famous hunter from New York. The hunter falls off of a boat and end up on an island with a man that hunts other men for fun. He is befriended by the man and then the man decides to hunt the other hunter as a competition. The New Yorker gains his freedom again by surviving the game for 3 days. This is kind of like the world we live in today. People try to help other people only to get close to the person so that they can take them down. Lots of people lose something by trusting someone that they don’t know or wouldn’t normally trust. For example, someone goes to the mall and is convinced by a total stranger to buy or do something. As the person is doing that they are tricked and manipulated into doing something that they don’t know or want to do.
